I thought it would be interesting to reblog this post “Hoofing It Around the Hospital,” originally posted on July 10, 2019. It’s a landmark of my path to retirement, which was a 3-year phased pathway. I was not on duty all the time in the hospital as a consultation-liaison psychiatrist, so it was sometimes a little tough to get back in the saddle. In fact, there are a few posts with the words “back in the saddle,” indicating that it was sometimes a challenge to hop back in the saddle.
But I was usually glad to get back into it. I’ve been away long enough not to miss it much nowadays. The PowerPoint slide video on Acute and Chronic Brain Injury” was done in 2019 and—all the links to the published articles still work!
