This reblog of an August 10, 2023 post “The Dragon Breathes Fire Again” updates the situation with Dragon Ambient Experience (DAX). The article I referenced indicating that DAX could still be problematic has been removed and the website, protocoldotcom, is for sale.
According to a Microsoft article, DAX is now a Microsoft product, combined with Artificial Intelligence (Microsoft Dragon Copilot). Moreover, there is also another Microsoft article published in 2022 which sounds pretty enthusiastic about Nuance’s DAX.
I’m not sold on it, but to be honest, I haven’t actually used it. After all, I’m retired.
