I tackled the Weave juggling pattern and, honestly, I tried to smooth it out and make it artsy. It still looks like martial arts. Actually, I’m just trying to avoid ball collisions, not karate chop them in half.
On the other hand, I saw a comment on the web about how it’s a good idea to use juggling balls of a different colors to ensure you’re doing the pattern right. I do that to make sure I’m always weaving the fancy ball under another different fancy ball. The other way to tell is that the plainer ball is always getting passed back and forth and the other two are moving in columns.
That’s the other reason why I’m arranging the balls in my hands in one of the clips, which is also in slow-motion and magnified.
I think I’m getting it right, although just to be sure you should check with experts like Taylor Glenn and Logan.
If you’re wondering what the heck the big knobby green ball is, that’s a therapy ball. Other names are spiky, knot relief, or massage balls. That gets your attention—especially when it bounces too hard off your hand. The other fancy ball is the tie dye ball. The orange ball is plain.
I’ll probably keep trying to make the Weave more stylish and graceful—but I’m betting I’ll just keep whipping it.
