This afternoon an oral surgeon yanked that tooth left behind after one of my crowns popped out while flossing in mid-June. It had to be removed in two pieces with a jigsaw the surgeon got for half price at Lowe’s Hardware.

The procedure itself was completely painless after local anesthetic. They gave me a big piece of rolled up gauze to soak up the blood afterward. It made me look like I was chewing on an old cigar stub.

There are more steps on the horizon to fix the hole left behind.
