Excessive Heat Warning in the Iowa Desert Today

It got up to 110 degrees today and there was an Excessive Heat Warning. I hope everyone found a way to bear it or escape it. It reminds me of the Africa Sahara episode of the Silver Desert Ants.

Its boiling! Even the cats are cranky…Who ever came up with the idea of AC deserves a medal. We didnt have AC growing up. Dont know if we were more acclimated then or just sucked it up. But its hot for sure!

    I could never. I think roofers and road crews would just be unbearable on days like this. Hopefully your staying cool!

    Same although I have to venture out for awhile later. And now I see theres storms for tonight. Maybe that will cool things down..
