I just started reading Michele Norris’s book, “Our Hidden Conversations.” It’s based on her Race Card Project, which has been going on for 14 years and counting. It’s about more than racism between black and white people. I’ll let you know what I think about the book from time to time.

Very interested in your review. I have been working on a post myself about what I learned about race in my high school biology course. In order to make sure that I was not just depending on memory – I went back, found the publisher and bought copies of all 3 texts used at the time. This is one of two PowerPoints I have:
“What I learned in High School Biology class over 50 years ago:
“Discussion of the human races often gets involved with arguments about the superiority or inferiority of one race or another. There is no biological basis for such arguments…..” p.732″
So one of the questions is why people just can’t accept biology. That is an equally obvious fact demonstrated by recent pandemic denial and antivax attitudes.
